Estácio de Sá is present at an event celebrating Campos Carnival

To guarantee the presence of the group, the drum queen provided an executive bus to transport the delegation to Campos and also assumed the costs related to the stay of school members during the event. According to Alice, Estácio de Sá's presence comes at an important moment for the resumption and strengthening of Campos Carnival. "I found it very interesting to take Estácio to this moment. It is important for the school, mainly because we are heading towards its centenary, but it is also important for Campos, who is moving to strengthen his Carnival again. I think this exchange is very positive for both sides", he stated. Activities beyond Marquês de Sapucaí Since taking on the role of drum queen at Estácio de Sá, Alice Alves has developed actions aimed at the school and the community linked to the association. Among the initiatives, it financed the renovation of the school court, considered one of the main spaces for coexistence and activities of red and white. It also promoted the distribution of shirts and flags to community residents, with the aim of strengthening the bond between the population and the school. More recently, it announced that it will fully pay for the costumes of around 50 children from Nova Geração at Estácio, a children's school linked to the association, for the 2027 Carnival. "I don't want to be at Estácio just to parade. I want to get to know the community, participate and leave my legacy. Carnival can transform lives and open doors, especially for children. That's why I believe so much in initiatives that bring education, culture and opportunity together", he said.
