The victims' bodies were found 44 days after their disappearance, on September 18, 2025, with gunshot marks and buried in a private rural property in Icaraíma. The woman claims that, after the first reports about the case, she heard comments that cast doubt on what had been reported by the police. “It was as if I was the crazy one and as if they were the saints”, said Denise.
