Eliziane Gama, candidate for the Senate in Maranhão, declares R$ 1.2 million in assets to the TSE

The data appears in the application registration request. Until this Friday (14), in addition to Eliziane, nine other candidates had already presented the necessary documentation to contest the 2026 elections: André Fufuca; Cidônio Gonçalves (PL); Enilton Rodrigues (PSOL); Hilton Gonçalo (Mobiliza); Lahesio Bonfim (NEW); Raimundo Corrêa (PCB); Roseana Sarney (MDB); Simplício Araújo (DC); Weverton Rocha (PDT) and Wilson Leite (PSTU). In total, 11 candidates will compete for two seats in Maranhão in the Federal Senate in 2026. To date, only Simplício Araújo (DC) had not yet submitted the request to register his candidacy. The deadline for parties and federations to officially register candidates ends at 7pm this Saturday (15), according to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). Eliziane Gama's assets increased by 77% Eliziane Gama's declared assets went from R$690 thousand in 2018, when she was elected senator for the PPS, to R$1.22 million in 2026, a growth of approximately 77%. In 2018, most of the assets were concentrated in one house, valued at R$630,000. That year, Eliziane also declared a motor vehicle worth R$60,000. In 2026, the candidate declared a house located in the Araçagi neighborhood, valued at R$1 million. The property represents the majority of the assets reported to the Electoral Court. This year's declaration also includes a Toyota Hilux model car, black and year 2020, valued at R$200,000. Eliziane also declared R$20,825.59 in fixed income investments at Banco do Brasil and R$1.01 in bank deposits in a current account at the same institution. Comparing the two elections, Eliziane's declared assets increased by R$530,826.60, going from R$690,000 to R$1,220,826.60.
