For us, the urgency of changing decisions within hospitals is becoming increasingly evident, with criteria that are increasingly technical and less political", said the candidate. "What we see is that, in Maranhão, public health has been transformed into a commodity. The population faces huge queues at hospitals, which often do not have beds, doctors or basic medicines. We will combat outsourcing, because we are in favor of 100% free, public and state health. We will also hold public competitions so that health workers have decent wages. Health is not a commodity, health is everyone's right", said candidate Reginaldo Lima.
