In fact, the automaker ended production at the Indaiatuba (SP) factory on June 30, and transferred all production to the new factory in Sorocaba (SP), scheduled to open in November this year. The Indaiatuba unit served the entire Brazilian market and produced 1.5 million Corollas. At the closing ceremony, the latest model of the car assembled at the factory paraded down a red carpet.
