The 16th Concred will bring together thousands of participants to discuss innovation, sustainability, leadership and the challenges of Brazilian credit cooperatives. Advisory/CrediSIS The CrediSIS System will participate in the 16th Brazilian Credit Cooperative Congress (Concred), which takes place between the 26th and 28th of August, in Goiânia (GO). Considered the largest credit union congress in the world in terms of number of participants, the event will bring together leaders, managers, collaborators and experts from different regions of the country to debate trends, share experiences and strengthen the sector's joint action. Held by the Brazilian Confederation of Credit Cooperatives (Confebras), the meeting will have the theme "In the countryside and in the city, together, building a sustainable future", promoting more than 60 lectures on topics such as innovation, technology, agribusiness, sustainability, leadership and development of credit cooperatives. The program will also be aimed at building connections between representatives of different Brazilian cooperative systems. For the president of the CrediSIS System, Otelo Castellani Filho, participating in Concred represents an opportunity to strengthen intercooperation, the sixth principle of cooperativism, through the exchange of experiences between cooperatives and institutions that share the same purpose. "Concred is a space where cooperativism meets to share experiences, learn from different realities and build solutions collectively. Being in this environment represents putting intercooperation into practice and contributing to the strengthening of the entire Brazilian cooperative movement", stated Otelo. In addition to the technical programming, the CrediSIS System will have an institutional stand during the three days of the event. The space will be focused on relationships with cooperatives, partners and participants, reinforcing the System's presence at one of the sector's main meetings. According to Otelo Castellani, events of this scale also play an important role in bringing together people who work daily for the development of credit cooperatives in different regions of the country. "This event goes beyond debates about the future of the sector, Concred is an opportunity to connect people who believe in cooperation as an instrument of development. It is these meetings that strengthen relationships, inspire new ideas and expand the possibilities of building solutions together", highlighted the president of the System. 16th Concred The 2026 edition is expected to bring together around five thousand participants from all over Brazil in a program aimed at exchanging experiences and discussing topics that impact the present and future of credit cooperatives. Over the three days of the congress, the public will follow panels, lectures and debates led by experts and national leaders. Among the confirmed speakers are professionals from the areas of economics, agribusiness, innovation, behavior, leadership and artificial intelligence, as well as representatives of the main institutions linked to Brazilian financial cooperatives, promoting reflections on the challenges, trends and opportunities for the development of the sector.
