Congress of Jurists will discuss pejotização, social security and criminal law

Discussing the legal future is the central theme of the Congress of Jurists of Alagoas, promoted by the Union of Lawyers of the State of Alagoas (Sindav/AL). To build this new vision, the event will feature panels on the impacts of pejotização on workers, on social security law, criminal law and one dedicated to women, addressing the gender perspective in the transformation of the Judiciary. The Congress of Jurists of Alagoas begins tomorrow (21) and continues until Saturday (22), at the Hotel Jatiúca. The main lecture, this Friday, will have the theme "Projecting the Legal Future" and will be led by two nationally and internationally prominent people from Alagoas: lawyer Nabor Bulhões and STJ minister Humberto Martins. On Saturday, the Congress of Jurists of Alagoas will have the Social Security Law panel, which will debate "The Principles that guide the Federal Courts", with lawyer Marcelo Lima and federal judge Sérgio Wanderley, in addition to the judge of the Regional Labor Court (TRT/AL) Marcelo Vieira, who will speak about "The Reflections of Pejotização on Social Security". "We will have the opportunity to hold an urgent debate on new labor relations, addressing crucial topics such as pejotização and its impact on social security. According to Elias Ferreira, president of Sindav/AL, the Congress of Jurists of Alagoas will be enriching and a milestone in legal events held in the State.
