Asphalt restoration on Avenida de Cillo within the Asfalto Novo Crédito program: Disclosure With an investment of approximately R$71 million in own resources, the Asfalto Novo program is transforming Americana's road infrastructure. The initiative foresees the conservation of around 408 thousand square meters of streets and avenues in different regions of the municipality, promoting greater safety, mobility, accessibility and quality of life for the population. The program covers important road corridors and regions of the city. Since June, Avenida de Cillo, Rua Fernando Camargo and the Parque das Nações, Morada do Sol and Jardim Nossa Senhora de Fátima neighborhoods have already received improvements. The interventions in the current stage also include the avenues Paulista, Centurione Boer, Nicolau João Abdalla and Paschoal Ardito, in addition to the regions of the Cariobinha, São Manoel, São Vito, Vila Franciscangelis and Vila Dainese neighborhoods. Planned interventions The works prioritize roads with greater vehicle flow and sections that require interventions to improve circulation conditions. On the city's main avenues, services are preferably carried out at night, reducing impacts on traffic and providing greater agility in carrying out work. "The Asfalto Novo program was planned to meet the main demands of Americana's road network, with strategic interventions that guarantee greater safety, comfort and durability to the pavement. It is an investment that directly benefits the population and accompanies the city's growth", states the municipal secretary of Works and Urban Services, Adriano Alvarenga Camargo Neves. Mobility and quality of life In addition to increasing the durability of the pavement, the program contributes to safer and more fluid traffic, improves accessibility and reinforces the municipal administration's commitment to modernizing urban infrastructure. "The Asfalto Novo program represents a historic investment in Americana's infrastructure. We are bringing improvements to all regions of the city, promoting greater mobility, safety and quality of life for those who live, work and travel around the city", highlights Mayor Chico Sardelli.
