Ação Leitura 2026 opens its program with a chat with Nando Reis in Natal Fernanda Zauli / g1 Ação Leitura 2026 opened this Thursday (16), in Natal, with a chat between the singer and composer Nando Reis and the writer, publicist and cultural producer Carlos Fialho. The event continues until August 6th with visits to public schools in Natal and Parnamirim and free meetings with writers at the Alberto Maranhão Theater. Nando Reis' participation marked the return of Ação Leitura after seven years. During the meeting, held at Cinemark at Midway Mall, the artist spoke about "Pré-Sal", a book released in 2024 by Editora WMF Martins Fontes and inspired by the song of the same name from the 2015 album Sei. ? According to creator Carlos Fialho, the initiative takes place in three stages: prior reading of texts in the classroom, chat between students and authors and donation of books to participating schools. In addition to Nando Reis, the program brings together writers such as Marcelino Freire, Jeferson Tenório, Eva Potiguara, Clotilde Tavares, Vanessa Augusta Cortez and Fábio Oliveira.
