How much is the coin worth? One Pequi (Pq) is equivalent to R$1. Circulation is restricted to the municipality and can only be used in businesses, rural producers and registered service providers. Therefore, the merchant reuses the currency to pay local suppliers and services, avoiding the immediate evasion of resources to other urban centers.
