Book Fair starts today in Teresópolis Teresópolis, in the Serrana region of Rio, will host the second edition of FLICT — Teresópolis Book and Culture Fair until Saturday (22). The event started on Monday (17) and has free entry, with programming for different age groups at the Feso Pro Arte Cultural Center. This year, the fair's theme is "Eliseu Visconti – Art in Movement", in honor of the Brazilian artist Eliseu Visconti. The program brings together literature, visual arts, theater, cinema, music and education, with activities that also highlight the cultural production of Teresópolis. During the six-day event, the public can participate in book launches, autograph sessions, storytelling, conversation circles, debates, workshops, meetings with authors and educational activities. ? The proposal is to bring children closer to literature through the performing arts. In the Digital Galleries, the public can participate in mediated visits to the digital and immersive exhibition "Os Modernos", which brings together audiovisual resources and dialogues with the fair's theme. The Documentation and Memory Center (Cdome) hosts book launches, autograph sessions, meetings with writers and storytelling. The Pro Arte Educativo program offers activities for children, young people and educators, with workshops and themed rooms on theater, visual arts, healthy eating, the environment, reading mediation and a film club. The program also includes a Cultural Tent, which will have artistic presentations, recreation, cultural interventions and shows. The space will also have a food area. The event features book launches, theater, workshops, exhibitions, shows and activities. Publicity Books and cultural production The exhibition area brings together publishers, bookstores, independent writers, artisans and representatives of literary institutions, such as the Academia Teresopolitana de Letras (ATL) and the Federation of Academies of Letters and Arts of the State of Rio de Janeiro (FALB). Visitors can discover and buy books and cultural products, as well as participate in autograph sessions and talk to authors. The fair also promotes themed tables, masterclasses, literary meetings, debates and training activities. Part of the programming takes place on the Unifeso campus and also in online panels on the Feso Pro Arte channel, on YouTube. Student participation According to the organization, hundreds of students from public and private education networks are expected to participate in the activities. The proposal is to increase access for children and young people to literature and other cultural manifestations, in addition to valuing local writers and encouraging the circulation of literary works.
