Police operation seizes rifle and large quantity of drugs in Macaé An operation by the 32nd Military Police Battalion seized a rifle, ammunition and 4.8 kilos of drugs this Tuesday (18), in Macaé, in the North of Fluminense. One man was arrested during the action. The operation took place in the region known as Burro de Cimento, in the Nova Holanda community, and involved teams from the 1st Company, the Tactical Actions Group (GAT) and the battalion's intelligence service. According to the Military Police, the objective was to combat drug trafficking and locate suspects involved in criminal activity. ? After the situation was controlled, the agents swept the region and found a 5.56 caliber rifle, 49 rounds of the same caliber and two 7.62 caliber rounds. 3.728 kg of marijuana and 1.118 kg of cocaine were also seized, as well as a radio transmitter. In total, 4.846 kg of drugs were seized. According to police, teams were shot during the operation. The suspect was initially taken to the Imbetiba Emergency Room, where he received medical care. Afterwards, he was taken to the police station.
