They presented proposals to combat violence against women in the state. Each person's speaking time was determined by the representation of their respective parties. Candidates with more than five representatives in the National Congress were entitled to one minute of speech. Those with up to five reps, 40 seconds. We know that there is structural machismo in our society, where men often think they own women and, therefore, beat, rape and kill. In the first months of the government, we opened police stations to combat violence against women 24 hours a day in the Metropolitan Region of Recife, in Caruaru and Petrolina. We opened 39 lilac rooms in regular police stations, together with the municipalities, we opened 30 new reference centers to welcome women victims of violence. That's why we need an integrated plan to prevent this violence, which is what the feminist movement has been demanding for decades. And it ends with accountability, ensuring that there are women's police stations in all development regions, and then I highlight Ipojuca and Ouricuri, where this demand already exists, where there is already a law demanding that the state build, and the state is absent.
