Event promotes sport and inclusion for people with disabilities in Teresópolis A sporting event held in Teresópolis, Serrana Region of Rio, brought together people with disabilities in a program focused on the practice of physical activities, integration and inclusion, this Monday (18). The initiative is part of AFESP (Physical and Sports Activity for People with Disabilities), a project that offers sports activities for people with disabilities in the municipality. During the event, participants were able to practice adapted activities and participate in social moments. The proposal is to use sport as an inclusion tool, also stimulating autonomy, confidence and the development of motor skills. ? Among the events promoted during the period is AZEF, which also brought together the public around sporting activities. According to City Hall, the number of people served by the sports and physical activities offered by the municipality increased from 730 to 3,300 participants over the course of a year.
